Steven Anthony “Anthony Sue” Powers
Steven Anthony “Anthony Sue” Powers, 32, of Verne Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.
He was born on July 2, 1985 in Jellico, TN.
He was preceded in death by his great-great grandfather, Ephraim Powers; great-grandmother, Bernice Powers; and aunts, Shonda Renee Curnutt and Melissa Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Bargo Powers of Williamsburg; father and mother-in-law, Carley and Oda Bennett of Williamsburg; mother, Gina Lawson and husband David of Williamsburg; father, Jacob Hamblin of Louisville; three brothers, Hunter Joshua Powers of Keavy, Cody Lawson of Williamsburg and Jacob Hamblin Jr. of Louisville; sister, Kayla Hamblin of Louisville; niece, Ava Lawson of Williamsburg; grandparents, Lonnie and Alma Hamblin of Williamsburg; grandfather, Hubert Smith of Jamestown, TN; Pappaw, Dean Owens of Williamsburg; Mammaw, Ruth Durham and Homer of Williamsburg; aunts and uncles, Rhonda Foister (James) of Gray, Danny Peace of Williamsburg, Jim Hill of Williamsburg, Mammaw Barbara Moul of Williamsburg, Rose Perkins (George) of Dayton, OH, Pete (David) Powers (Kathy) of Williamsburg; Lucy Tanner of Williamsburg; Mark Powers of Williamsburg and James (Beaver) Powers (Rebecca) of Williamsburg; special cousin, Josh Perkins of Dayton, OH; special friends, Ben Powers, Lowell Bennett and Everett Hill; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be held from noon until the funeral hour at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, at the Mulberry Community Church with Rev. Richard Meadors officiating.
Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Powers Family Cemetery at Verne.
