Stephanie Beth Rose
Stephanie Beth Rose, 42, of Devils Creek Road, Corbin, departed this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.
She was born on October 3, 1974 in Corbin, to Willard Dariel Rose and Carol Madge (Smith) Rose.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Opal Pfoff and Garfield and Inis Rose; uncle, Curtis Rose and Bobby Smith; and aunt, Betty “Wilma” Karr.
She attended Grace on the Hill Methodist Church in Corbin.
She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and Spencerian College with a Bio Medical Engineering Degree.
She was a former player for the University of Kentucky Lady Kats. She was a Gift of Life Organ Donor.
She is survived by her mother, Carol Rose of Corbin; father, Dariel Rose of Corbin; sister, Sandy Rose Staton (Jake) of Albany; brother, Tim Collins (Lisa) of Flatwoods; aunts, Judy Collins, Jewel Farmer, Eva Rose, and Doris Ellis (C.J.); uncles, Paul Brown, Rondal Karr (Sue), and Bobby Smith; nieces, Eryn Smith, Kaeli Collins, and Ella Rose Smith; nephew, Ethan Smith and James Staton; and special cousins, Rhonda Rose Bentley, Chris Ellis, Andy Collins, and Jason Ellis; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 1, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Terrell-Murray Cemetery, Rockholds.
