Shirley Ann Clark Weaver
Shirley Ann Clark Weaver left this earth for her heavenly home on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Oak Ridge Methodist Medical Center with her family by her side.
Shirley was born July 11, 1935, to Hazel Newton Clark. She was raised in Jellico and graduated from Jellico High School. She attended Maryville Business College and was a long-time employee of the Jellico Electric System. She was a member of the Jellico CGMA.
She married Curt Weaver in 1953 and had four children. She loved the Lord and her family. She also loved nature, camping, traveling, sports, reading, crafts and as she always said, “just sitting around and doing nothing!”
Shirley is survived by daughter, Pam Weaver of Jellico; daughter, Penny Cummins and husband Jim of Jellico, son, Mike Weaver and wife Shelia of Myrtle Beach, SC, and daughter, Melinda Hall of Williamsburg, KY; five granddaughters, Erin Walker of Jellico, Beth Brandenburg and husband Melvin of Jacksboro, Kristin Bowen and husband Brandon of Columbia, SC, Carrie Bailey and husband Daniel of Jacksboro, and Candace Weaver of Myrtle Beach, SC; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Walker of Jellico, Bailey and Brooklyn Brandenburg of Jacksboro, and Carter and Levi Bowen of Columbia, SC; and by a host of many friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Newton Clark, beloved husband, Curt Weaver and her loving son-in-law, Glen Hall.
Funeral service was Wednesday, January 18, at the Jellico Church of God of the Mountain Assembly Tabernacle with Rev. Scott Landes, Rev. DJ Osborn and Rev. Gerald Mullins officiating.
Interment was Thursday, January 19, in the Hackler Cemetery in Jellico, TN.
The Llewellyn Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
