Sherry Ramsey Davis

Sherry Ruth Ramsey Davis, 52, of the Little Cane Creek Community of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016 at her home.
She was born on January 9, 1964 in Jellico, TN.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, William Ramsey, Jr. and Queen Ester Carroll Ramsey; brothers, Billy “Chester” Ramsey, Jimmy “Jim-I” Ramsey, Michael Ramsey, Joe Albert Ramsey and Johnny Ramsey; sister, Irene June Ramsey Baird; niece, Christina Ramsey.

She is survived by her husband, David Davis of Williamsburg; daughter, Vickie Lynn Cupp of Williamsburg; son, David Cupp of Richmond; granddaughters, Savanna Cupp and Hannah Cupp; grandson, Michael Cupp, all of Williamsburg; brothers, Frank Ramsey and Gene Ramsey, and wife Loretta, of Jellico; sisters, Linda Barton, and husband Eddie, of Jellico, Phyllis Lea, and husband James, of Cumming, GA, Helen Elliott, and husband Danny, of Jellico; sister-in-law, Lorene Ramsey of Jellico; nieces and nephews, E. Wayne Barton, II, Sara E. Barton, Susan (Barton) Anderson, Trena (Lea) Childers, Greg Lea, Ryan Lea, Danny Elliott, Brandon Baird, Therman Baird, Sue Ramsey, Lori Harp, William Ramsey, Scott Duncan, Jennifer Lay, Irene Ramsey, Frank Ramsey, Jamie Ramsey, Shannon Amburgey, Jimmy Ramsey, Mikey Ramsey and Crystal Gibson; several great-nieces and nephews; lifelong friend, Becky Phillips Rose; and a host of friends and other relatives to mourn her passing.

The funeral was held November 1, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be held Wednesday morning, November 2, at 11 a.m. in the Douglas Cemetery.
