SGT. Brian Atchison

SGT. Brian Donald Atchison, age 50, of Pioneer (Elk Valley), Tennessee passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 in an automobile accident. He was born October 7, 1970 in Corbin, Kentucky.
Brian is preceded in death by father, Frank “Sonny” King, Jr.; and sister, Shawna Garland.
He is survived by wife, Shirley Marlowe Atchison; son, Dillon Marlowe & fiancée Jamie Perkins; daughters, Jessica Large & G.W., and Nikki Marlowe & Chris; mother, Janice Sears King; bonus daughter, Kea Blankenship; ten grandchildren; brothers, James Thompson & Sandra, Chris King & Missy, and Willy Nashwinter; sister, Lisa Farmer; special niece & nephews, Maddie, Derek & Dakota Farmer; special friend, Tyson Manis; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends & family to mourn his passing.
The funeral will be Wednesday, September 22, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Jackson and Mitchell Long officiating.
Burial will follow in the Atchison-Marlowe Family Cemetery
Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Honor Guard.
