Roy Lee Connatser

Roy Lee Connatser, 66, of Shiner Church Road, Williamsburg, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his home, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

He was a member of Shiner Church of Christ and Williamsburg Masonic Lodge 490 F&AM.

He loved to fish and camp and go to the races at Bristol.

He was born Jan. 20, 1952 in Friendsville, TN to Frank and Mildred Carpenter Connatser and graduated from Friendsville High School.

He worked for CSX Railroad for 37 years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Carpenter Connatser and his brother-in-law, Mead Nelson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Trish Sutton Connatser; father, Frank Connatser, Sr. of Friendsville, TN; two sons, Lee Connatser (Christy) and Travis Connatser (Debbie) all of Maryville, TN; three brothers, Troy Connatser (Judy) of Sweetwater, TN, Frank Connatser, Jr. (Ann) and Jerry Connatser, all of Friendsville, TN; two sisters, Joyce Bolton (Brian), of Friendsville, TN and Shirley Nelson, of Maryville, TN; two granddaughters Tori Connatser and Ella Connatser, both of Maryville, TN; two brothers-in-law, Ralph Lyttle of Williamsburg and Wayne Whitus of Corbin; two sisters-in-law, Frankie Coffey of Williamsburg and Edna Whitus of Corbin; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Masonic rites were conducted by the Williamsburg Masonic Lodge on Tuesday evening at the Shiner Church of Christ.

The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shiner Church of Christ with Bro. Mike Anderson officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Tye, Tim Coffey, Chuck Whitus, Mike Lewis, Denny Jones, Adam Hill, and Randy Lyttle.

Burial will follow at the Sutton-Pemberton Cemetery.
