Rosie Marlow Garrett

Rosie Marlow Garrett, age 76, of Clairfield, Tennessee passed away Thursday, August 19, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 14, 1944 in Straight Creek, Tennessee. Rosie was a loving and devoted mother, who loved gardening and canning. She was saved in the United Rock Creek Freewill Baptist Church.

Rosie is preceded in death by sons, Jimmy Garrett and Timothy Dean Garrett; granddaughter, Amanda Gilbert; parents, David and Dora Terry Marlow; and brother, Lawrence Marlow.

She is survived by the father of their children, Robert Garrett; sons, Gary Garrett and David Garrett and wife Peggy; daughters, Peggy Thomas and husband Lonnie; and Melissa Hatfield all of Clairfield; grandchildren, Abby, Fleshia, Crystal, Sabrina and Daniel; great-grandchildren, Luke, Adrian, Hannah, Destiny, Logan, Desmond, Peyton, Hailey and Mattie.
Rosie leaves behind a host of relatives, friends and neighbors to mourn her passing.

Graveside service was Sunday, August 22, in the Clairfield Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Clairfield Baptist Church Cemetery.
