Rockholds man arrested for break ins at school; $10,000 worth of equipment recovered

Deputies unload items recovered from teh burglaries.
Whitley County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a Rockholds man who they say broke into the Whitley County Alternative School twice within the last week.
According to Sheriff Colan Harrell, Deputy Jeff Anderson and Sgt. David Lennon arrested Charles Helton, 18, on two counts of third-degree burglary.
The burglaries reportedly occurred Saturday and Monday. Harrell stated the burglar(s) made off with approximately $10,000 in electronics, including computers and other miscellaneous items.
The deputies recovered the items Tuesday and took Helton into custody.
Helton was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center and is being on a $25,000 cash bond.
