RIggs-Monday united in marriage
Rebekah Renae Riggs and Jimmy Dale Monday are pleased to announce their recent marriage. They were united in marriage on June 4, 2011 in White Oak, Tenn. by Clifford Slaven on the property of the bride’s parents. Rebekah and Jimmy are the parents of Rachel Sydne, Canaan Briley and Addison Breanna.
The bride is the daughter of Kathy Reed of White Oak and the late Raymond Reed. She is a graduate of Fonde Christian Academy and the University of the Cumberlands.
The groom is the son of Denise Metcalf of Clairfield and Roger and Stephanie Monday of Stinking Creek. He is the grandson of Jimmy Ray King of Clairfield and the late Dewey and Lennis Monday.
Rebekah was escorted down the aisle by her mother and given in marriage by both parents. April Sowders Couch of Jacksboro, cousin of the bride, served as matron-of-honor. Erica Shelby of White Oak, cousin of the bride, served as bridesmaid. Rachel Riggs, daughter of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid while Addison Monday, daughter of the groom, was the flower girl.
Josh Taylor of Pine Knot, friend of the groom, served as best man. Jesse Warman of White Oak, friend of the bride and groom, served as groomsman. Canaan Parsons, son of the bride, was the ring bearer. Tina Lemarr of White Oak, friend of the bride and groom, served as escort for the father of the bride as well as decorating and assisting with the music.
The couple would like to give a special to thanks to all those who helped make their wedding day so wonderful. The couple spent their honeymoon in Tennessee and now reside in Williamsburg, Ky.
