Retta Mae Ayers

Retta Mae Ayers, age 69, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Baptist Health Lexington.
She was born November 18, 1953 in London, KY, to the late Willie E. and Essie Boggs Harris. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henderson and Nancy Boggs.
She is survived by her husband, Glen Ayers of Williamsburg, KY; her children, James Russell, Melissa, Essie Elizabeth, John Curtiss, Jc. Estille, Jr. III, Michael Wayne, Mary Amissa, David Allen, Rebecca Lynn, Daniel Kevin, Charles Ray, and Rodney Lee; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters, several nieces and nephews, and several friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Carpenter officiating.
Interment will be in Ayers and Harris Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 PM until the funeral hour Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the funeral home.
