The Corbin Redhounds owned a 24-8 lead at the end of the first quarter, but saw the Middlesboro Yellow Jackets go on a 49-25 run over the next two quarters and take a 57-49 lead going into the final period.

The Redhounds made a run in the final stanza and tied the game at 73-73 with 2:26 left, but the Yellow Jackets held off Corbin to advance to the 13^th Region semifinals with an 86-80 win.

Senior Blake Davis led the Yellow Jackets with 22 points while junior Donnie Foister added 20 points. Junior Austin Poindexter tossed in 18 points.

Freshman Trevor Hill led Corbin with 17 points while junior Kevin Goins tossed in 16 points.

The Redhounds ended the season with a 24-6 record while Middlesboro goes to 16-13 on the year. They will play Clay County in Friday’s first semifinal.
