Redhounds compete in weekend 7-on-7 passing tourney at UK

This past Saturday, members of the Corbin Redhounds football team traveled to Lexington to compete in a 7-on-7 passing tournament at the University of Kentucky with 21 other teams from around the state.
Corbin went 2-3 on the day, getting wins over Ryle and Woodford County before losing to Louisville Male in the second round.
Head Coach Justin Haddix said that getting to play on the field at Commonwealth Stadium was a great experience for his team, and he feels that the level of competition and speed that they saw while at the tournament will help them this season.
The Redhounds competed in another 7-on-7 tournament at Eastern Kentucky University on Tuesday 7/22, and they will be hosting a tournament of their own Thursday 7/24 at Campbell Field. Whitley County and Breathitt County will also be participating, with the start time scheduled for 6:00 PM.
