Public’s help sought to locate missing man
Williamsburg Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing person, who disappeared about one week ago. They say the man isn’t in trouble and simply ask that he contact them, if he reads this, so they can verify that he is alright.
Garry J. Seabolt, 48, was last seen about 9:30 a.m. on June 19 leaving The Anchorage Ministries walking in the direction of the mall, said Williamsburg Police Chief Wayne Bird.
“Just looking at it right now, we don’t think there was any type of foul play. He may be concerned because he was there on a court order and just doesn’t want anybody to know where he is at. As of right now he is not in trouble. We just need to make contact with him to make sure he is OK,” Bird noted.
“Just call us and let us confirm that you are who we are talking to and make sure you are OK. His family is concerned about him. They just want to make sure he is alive and well.”
Seabolt was last seen with some locals and police are currently trying to track down further information about that.
Seabolt was reported missing on Sunday (June 26) at 6:26 p.m.
Either Seabolt, or anyone with information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Whitley County E-911 non-emergency number at (606) 549-6017, or the Williamsburg Police Department at (606) 549-6087.
Officer Bryson Lawson is in charge of the investigation.
