Police searching for man who robbed Corbin Subway at gunpoint
Police are asking the public for any information that would lead to the arrest of the man they say robbed a south Corbin restaurant at gunpoint Tuesday night.
An white male entered the Subway restaurant, located on Cumberland Falls Hwy., Tuesday at about 8:45 p.m. and walked up to the counter and handed the employee there a note. The note said he wanted all the money in the register. The man allegedly had a small revolver and pointed it at the employee.
Police say the suspect had on a camouflage jacket with the hood pulled over his head. He also wore eyeglasses. He fled the restaurant in an unknown type of vehicle and appeared to have turned south on US 25W.
The man is described as about six feet tall with blue eyes and of thin build. Authorities think he is between 20 and 30 years old.
