Police looking for man who robbed BP station twice in one week

A surveillance camera captured this image of a man police say robbed a Corbin BP gas station twice in a four-day period.
For the second time in four days, the BP/Krystal off of exit 29 was robbed at gunpoint and Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies say it may be the same person.
“He was wearing different clothes, but the physical description was pretty much the same,” said Deputy Gilbert Acciardo, the department’s public affairs officer.
The suspect is scribed as a white male, 40 to 50 years of age, with a gray beard.
The first robbery occurred about 8:40 p.m., Friday. The robber was reportedly wearing a blue hoody, cap, blue jeans, flip flops and socks. He was armed with a semi automatic pistol.
The second robbery occurred about 10 p.m. Monday.
In an interview with deputies Monday, the clerk, who was on duty when both robbery occurred, added that the robber weighed between 200 and 210 pounds
On both occasions, the robber ordered the clerk to empty the register and made off on foot with the cash.
Employees at the store referred any questions about the robbery to the sheriff’s office.
