Police arrest four for meth lab at Corbin apartment complex

A 19-month-old is in the custody of social services after Corbin Police found the child in a home where four individuals were allegedly cooking methamphetamine.
Corbin Police Captain Rob Jones said about 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to Elaine Apartments off of Standard Ave. in response to an anonymous tip about a meth lab.
Near apartment No. 4, officers reported smelling the distinct odor of a meth lab. Through a window in the apartment, officers witnessed a suspect, later identified as Glendalea Tuttle, 29, shaking a bottle police identified as a one-step meth lab. Tuttle then handed the bottle to Wesley Howard, 40, and they walked outside to where the officers were standing.
Tuttle was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officers also found William Garland, 23, and Annette Garland, 43, inside the apartment. Annette Garland and Wesley Howard were each charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and fourth-degree controlled substance endangerment to a child. William Garland was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Jones said the child was taken to Baptist Regional Medical Center where it was treated and released into the care of officials from Knox County Social Services.
The suspects remain in the Knox County Detention Center.

I think it is terrible to put your children in danger of any kind.It is sad that our community is falling apart because of drugs.So many parents are incapable of being parents when they allow them selves to become addicted.
What pathetic hags! If you don’t want your child, give it to someone who does, maybe the baby will at least have a chance to grow up instead of being blown up by these poor excuses for parents.
