Phyllis Ann Skidmore

Phyllis Ann Skidmore, 59, of Corbin, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Baptist Health Corbin.

Born in Whitley County, Phyllis was the daughter of the late Herbert Young and Wilma Martin Young.

She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Whippoorwill Pentecostal Church.

Phyllis is survived by her husband Ralph E. Skidmore; children Kimberly Bennett (Shawn), Miranda Richardson (David), and Elzie Medrano; grandchildren Tyler Black, Makenzie Black, Shawn Bennett, Austin Bennett, Braydon Bennett, Dakota Nicely, Madalyn Richardson and Maddox Richardson who is expected soon; brothers and sisters: Larry Young, Lewis Young, Denver Young, Wanda Poe, and

Linda Jordan; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held Saturday, May 20, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Lee officiating.

Burial was in the Young Cemetery on Bee Creek Rd.
