Dolly Rebecca Parton (born Jan. 19, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter, author, multi-instrumentalist, best-known for her work in country music.

University of the Cumberlands held its 18th annual Faculty-Staff Dinner on April 22, where the school honored individuals for years of service and presented two awards for community service and one for teaching excellence.
