Patty Sue Elmore

Patty Sue Elmore, beloved mother, 76, of Williamsburg, was called home by the Lord Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

She passed away peacefully at her home. She was born March 25, 1941 in Virginia.

Patty is preceded in death by her husband,  Lawrence Elmore; son, Lawrence Elmore, Jr.; daughter, Hester Jane Elmore; great grandchild, Daisy Carroll; father, Sherman Barker; mother, Cynthia Collier Barker; brothers, Billy Mac Barker, Bobbie Joe Barker, Sherman Eddie Barker, Larry Barker; sisters, Doris Mullins, Peggy Holbrook, Rettie Parsons.

She is survived by a son, Paul David Elmore and Vickie; daughters, Cynthia Brown and Jack, Trecia Gibson and Eugene, Mary Carroll and Wilford, Peggy Cox and Charles; grandchildren, Jesse, Patricia, Jamie, Larry, Bobbi, Amanda, David and Angel; great grandchildren, Cameron, Ashton, Emily, Austin, Brittany, Araya, Coraline, Silas, Adam, Harper, Zoey, Robert, Isbabel, Lily, Ashtan, Bella, Nova and Jace; sister, Margie Collier; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

The funeral services were held October 26 at the Harp Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Kitts officiating.

​Burial was held Friday, October 27, in the Douglas Cemetery (Wooldridge Community).

Harp Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of arrangements.
