Patrick Heath Sherman
Patrick Heath Sherman, 54, loving husband of Kathy Wooldridge Sherman, passed away suddenly August 23, 2022 at St. Joseph East in Lexington, KY. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on August 8, 1968.
Heath was preceded in death by his parents, Dalford Earl Sherman, Wilma Christeen Thomas and his step-father, Toby Muse; his grandparents, Maynard and Hazel Thomas, Gray and Ann Sherman, Peggy and Andrew Caldwell.
He was a 1986 graduate of Lynn Camp High School, a 1992 graduate of Kentucky Christian University with degrees in Bible and Business Administration, and received a BBA in Management at Northwood University.
While at Kentucky Christian University he was a three time member of the NCCAA National Championship Basketball Team. He currently worked as a group leader for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Georgetown, KY and is a member of the Northside Christian Church in Georgetown.
In earlier years he served as Youth Minister at Level Green in Keavy, KY and Milford Christian Church in Bracken County, KY. Later he served as Senior Minister at Glensboro Christian Church in Glensboro, KY and Corinth Christian Church in Stamping Ground, KY.
Including Kathy, his wife of 23 years, he is survived by his precious daughter, Darci Grace Sherman; his siblings, Rhonda Wells, Kylie (Bill) Miracle, Elizabeth (Will) Daniels, Jason (Thelma) Scott, and Doug (Jill) Martin; his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Betty Wooldridge; sister-in-law, Amy (Todd) McKenzie; a special niece Heather, Papi’s Taterbug Jayden, and his other loved nieces and nephews, Hannah, Bethany, Anna, Ally, Beth Ann, Emily, Jessica, TJ, Jesse Heath, John, Cody, Austin, Jacob, Kaleb, and an assortment of adopted nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, August 27, at Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Road, Lawrenceburg, KY with Doug Martin, Nick Skinner and Jesse Heath Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 -8 PM Friday and 10 AM – 1 PM Saturday all at Ninevah Christian Church.
Memorials are suggested to the Donald “Dick” Damron Memorial Scholarship Fund at Kentucky Christian University or Camp Calvary.
