ONLY ONLINE: Operation UNITE busts three Corbin residents for making meth
Three Corbin residents are facing felony drug charges after a call to UNITE’s drug tip line led officials to a residence on Barton Mill Rd. where items used to make methamphetamine were found after a search was conducted.
Michael E. Neelley, 22, Melanie Loveless, 39 and John Monhollon 38, each of Corbin, were arrested and charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine on Oct. 9.
According to arrest citations, Richard Dalrymple and Brian Metzger, officers with UNITE’s drug task force, responded to a tip with what was described in the report as a knock and talk at a residence at 1563 Barton Mill Rd. in Corbin. While at the residence, detectives received consent to search the premises by the owner, upon which they discovered several items used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine. The report states the Neelley told detectives that he had been purchasing Pseudoephedrine for Monhollon to make meth.
After further investigation, Monhollon told officer’s that he had indeed taken Neelley to purchase pseudo earlier in the day. As for Loveless, the arrest citation states that she was found in the room where the items which were believed to be used for making methamphetamine were located.
All three were arrested and lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center. UNITE officers are continuing the investigation.
