Nora Marcella (nee Mayne) Faulkner. Beloved wife of the late Charles Coleman Faulkner. Nora Marcella Faulkner, age 90, of Sevierville, TN, passed on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township, Ohio.
Nora (a.k.a. Marcella) was born February 14, 1932 in Williamsburg, KY, to the late Crittie Bennett Mayne and Benjamin Mayne.
Nora was an exceptionally kind, loving and caring wife, mother, granny, sister, and aunt, whose unconditional love for all of us will endure forevermore in our hearts. Mother was a blessing, and a joy for all those who made her acquaintance, just ask them!
Nora is survived by her brother, Bill Mayne; sister-in-law, Nola Rodgers; her four children, Brenda Faulkner, the late Larry Faulkner, James (Glenna) Faulkner, Charlene (Tom) Fulk, and Debbie Griffin; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son, Larry Lynn Faulkner; brothers, James Mayne and Howard Mayne; and sisters, Lavada Beams, Bretta Conley, and Martha Lawson.
Friends may visit with the family at Vorhis and Ryan Funeral Home, 5501 Montgomery Rd., Norwood, OH on Wednesday, March 16, from 5:00 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM.
Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 17, in Carpenter Cemetery in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
