Myrtle J. White
Myrtle J. White, 77, of Danville, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.
She was born April 21, 1940 in Jellico, TN to the late Joseph Bowlin and the late Rose Mitchell Bowlin.
She was a member of the Briar Creek Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the choir.
She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert White; a son, Michael Ray White; and sister, Betty Spies (Earl).
She is survived by a son Tony White (Jennifer) of Junction City, KY; sister, Evelyn Dotson (Bob) of Norwood, OH; sister-in-law, Thelma Richardson (Frank) of Williamsburg; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Sunday, July 9, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Mitchell officiating.
Interment was in Highland Park Cemetery, Davis Addition.
