Moses wins revived Miss Whitley County Fair Pageant

Following a one-year absence, the Miss Whitley County Fair Scholarship Pageant returned Saturday night with Amanda Moses taking home the title.
Moses received $5,000 worth of scholarships, a diamond pendant from S&J Design, a crown courtesy of Michelle Calton and Enchanted Productions and Roses from Merry’s Flower Shop.
Whitney Baker was crowned as the first runner-up and Bendra Worley was the second runner-up during the pageant, which took place Saturday night in the Whitley County Middle School Gym.
The theme for this year’s pageant was "Around the World."
During the opening of the pageant, the nine contestants donned outfits representing a country of their choice and then introduced themselves to the audience in the language of that country.
Jeff Smoak served as master of ceremonies.

• Speech and UNITE fundraising award – Lindsay Ingle.
• Congeniality – Taylor Hamlin.
• Evening gown and photogenic – Amanda Moses.
• Interview – Nicole Lee.
• Swimsuit – Bendra Worley.
