Mittie Lois Mayton

Mittie Lois Mayton, 67, of Jim Branch Hollow Road, Pineville, departed this life on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the UT Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.

She was born on May 23, 1950 in Williamsburg, to Alvis Mayton and Dewey Helena (Bennett) Mayton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvis and Lena Mayton; and brother, Hubert Mayton.

She is survived by her brothers, Maynard Mayton (wife Susan) of Berea, Harold Mayton (wife Joyce) of Corbin, J. C. Mayton (wife Cathy) of Pattonville, TX, and Alvin Mayton of Corbin; sister, Kathy Jones of Pineville; sister-in-laws, Donna Mayton of Missouri and Virginia Mayton of Corbin; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing; Special friends, workers and kids at Henderson Settlement after school program.
Lois loved to bake treats for the kids and for her family and friends.

The funeral service was held Tuesday, March 13, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Kishpaugh officiating.

Following the service she was laid to rest in the Bennett Cemetery.
