Mildred “Lois” Partin
Mildred “Lois” Partin, 80, of Buck Creek Community, Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at the family residence.
She was born May 13, 1936, at Mountain Ash, the daughter of the late Rev. George Russell Stephens and Gladys Petrey Stephens.
She was a member of the Mountain Ash Church of God for over forty five years and worked for Duckhead Apparel for several years.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Ray Stephens and Terry Ray Stephens.
She is survived by her loving husband Glen B. Partin with whom she walked hand in hand in love for sixty one years; by five children, Gail Lawson and Harold Taylor, of Williamsburg; Kay Partin of Smith Hill; Darrell Partin (Judy), of Tackett Creek, Cathy Hamblin and husband, Mont Hamblin, II, of Gillette, WY, James Partin and wife, Dawn of Buck Creek; fourteen grandchildren, Christopher Lawson (Tessa), Adam Lawson, Jason Veach, Travis Veach (Pam), Junior Jack Veach, Gordy Veach, Joshua Partin (Miranda), Chassidy Nelson (Oreo), Mont Hamblin, III, Abigail Hamblin Morgan (Wallace), Austin Partin, Zak Partin, Hannah Partin, and Hunter Partin; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Smiddy; sister-in-law, Mary Stephens; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held March 30 at Cox & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Ulys Cox officiating.
Burial followed in the Partin Family Cemetery at Buck Creek, KY.
