Michael Shane Brooks

Michael Shane Brooks, age 54, of Lloyd Meadors Road, Williamsburg, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by family and friends.
Michael was born on September 23, 1967 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Willard and Martha Adell (Davis) Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Ernest Brooks; brother, Don Brooks; brother-in-law, Ray King; grandparents, John Frank Brooks and Mary (Moore) Brooks and Isaac (Wig) Davis and Ann (Sumner) Davis.
Michael was a member of Concord Community Church and went to Horizon Day Care. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler and visiting in the community. He loved birds and bird watching. He was a self-proclaimed meteorologist.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Mary West (Denny), Dotty Canada (William), Bonnie Petrey, Jerry Brooks (Eva), Ella Cornelius (Dusty), Eric Brooks (Michelle) Martha King and Kathy West (Rev. Bryan), all of Williamsburg; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and numerous family and friends to mourn his passing.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 24, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Willie Canada and Rev. Bryan West officiating.
Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Oak Ridge Church of God Cemetery in Williamsburg.
