Melissa Renae Moreland

Melissa Renae Moreland, 49, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023.

Born May 7, 1973, in Corbin, Kentucky, she was the daughter of John D. Moreland and Sandra Moreland of London, Kentucky.

In addition to her father and mother, Melissa leaves behind her two daughters, Kirsten M. Cass of Lexington, Kentucky, and Regan B. White of Louisville, Kentucky; brother, John D. Moreland II of London, Kentucky; and nephew, Ryker G. Moreland.

Melissa was a devoted Christian who was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 14, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Albert Jones officiating.

Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends from 11 am – 1:00 pm. on Saturday at Hart Funeral Home, located at 1011 Master Street in Corbin.
