Margaret Ann Cox
Margaret Ann Cox, 82, of Gibson, Lane, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Williamsburg Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on February 4, October 7, 1935 to the late Claude Lovitt and Eula (Davis) Lovitt.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Cox and a brother, Wendell Lovitt.
Margaret was a member of Youngs Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Robin) Cox-Hegedus and husband Greg of Norwood, OH; son, Rick Cox and wife Brenda Mae of Bromley; four grandchildren, Adam Cox, Travis Cox, Brad Terrell and Jae Terrell; twelve great-grandchildren, Toby Cox, Aaron Cox, Trent Cox, Serenity Cox, Mason Cox, Apple Terrell, Zakk Terrell, Daisy Terrell, Jakk Terrell, Ara Terrell, Braeleigh McCullah and Brayden McCullah; four sisters, Sue Miller (John) of Williamsburg, Phyllis Rains (the late John) of Glen Carbon, IL, Patsy Mullins (the late Ronnie) of London, and Kay Manning (Eddie) of Williamsburg; three brothers, Kenneth Lovitt (the late Yvonne) of Fayetteville, NC, Rev. Gary Lovitt (Judy) of Nashville, TN and Dennis Lovitt (Linda) of Blue Ash, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Sunday, December 10, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hodge and Rev. Gary Lovitt officiating.
Following the service she was laid to rest in the Piney Grove Cemetery.
