Man arrested for fighting with officers outside of restaurant
A Covington man was arrested in the parking lot of a Corbin restaurant last week after a drunken brawl with police officers.
Steven Simpson Jr., 28, was charged with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and menacing following the incident.
According to Corbin Police, officers were called to El Dorado Mexican Restaurant, located on Cumberland Falls Hwy. near I-75 Exit 25, last Friday night. Restaurant employees said Simpson was trying to fight with them.
When officers arrived, Simpson tried to leave and ignored orders to stop. He allegedly cursed at officers Stephen Meadors, Rick Baker and Coy Wilson and tried to fight them. He had to be physically restrained.
According to an arrest citation, Simpson had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and was unsteady on his feet.
He was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center following his arrest.

I am very curious to know, how was it that Dalton Christopher Brewer RAN to the Corbin Police officers when he could not even stand up? And I am even more curious to know how Dalton Christopher Brewer was able to get into a boat, get off of a boat, mount and innertube, go riding this inntertube during the Summer of 2010? If you don’t want to take my word for his innertubing fiasco, just check with University of Kentucky Medical Center, he was afterall taken there after his lil innertubing accident. I think he injured his spleen or something of that nature while innertubing on Laurel Lake. I would also like to know how it is that he supposed only has issues walking and standing around people that he fears might tell on him? I have seen him walking around perfectly without the assistance of a cane or anything else. And from what I have heard, he has no problems whatsoever taking off in cars and trucks and things when no one is pampering him and he gets mad about not being the center of attention. Perhaps all of this is because he is a fake and lying all the way to the bank, the Bank of the Taxpayers of Kentucky. It is a sad shame that this “trial” (it is more like a circus) is even being allowed and a grosser shame that it is being allowed for someone that was caught with ectasy pills, steriods, AND blank narcotics prescription pads inside his home only days after this said “beat down.” He apparently was not too beaten down to collect an array of illegal items to sell to the public. I really want to know when he will be jailed for HIS injustices and the tax payers of Kentucky will be relieved of this current circus mess?
No doubt he was drunk. I hope part of his sentence is to go to AA and was the cops cars he attacked.
