Lucille Taylor Allen

Lucille Taylor Allen, 98, of Clairfield passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Cumberland Village Nursing Home in Lafollette, TN.

She was born October 19, 1918 in Clairfield, TN.

She was a member of the Anthras Baptist Church.

Lucille is preceded in death by parents, Billy and Betty Hatfield Taylor; children, Kenneth Allen, Reva Joyce Hamblin; grandsons, Kenneth “Doot” Allen, Stacey Alley; great granddaughter, Jenniffer McCreary; brothers, Elbert, Alvis, Floyd, Henry and Jake Taylor; sisters, Pearl Sharp, Mae Taylor.

She is survived by children, Billy Ray Allen of Lafollette, Kyle Allen of Clairfield, Pam Jefferies and husband and special son-in-law Johnny of Lafollette; six grandchildren, Mike Allen and wife Sonya, Tim Allen and wife Bridgette, Jeremy Allen and wife Jeanette, Melissa Lay and husband Ed, Lynn Jefferies and wife Shari, Melanie Reado and husband Jarvis, seven great grandchildren: Drew, Jessica, Savannah, Zack, Carissa, John Parker & Caroline; three great great grandchildren; special friend, Mary Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 17, at the Anthras Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Partin officiating.

Burial to follow in the Rogerston Cemetery.
