Lola Madge McKeehan
Lola Madge McKeehan, age 84, of Bee Creek Road, Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin.
Madge was born on January 29, 1937 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Della (Lovitt) Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, the Honorable Emby McKeehan; daughter, Carmen Bennett; and grandson, Jonathan McKeehan.
Madge was a member of Greenland Baptist Church of Corbin where she taught Bible and Sunday School. Madge was very active in church and WMU and provided many rides to church for kids.
She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Sutton and husband Donnie, Charlotte Barnett and husband Keith and Jennifer King and husband Clark, all of Corbin; three sons, Jonathan McKeehan and wife Jeneva, Robert McKeehan and wife Jean and Nathan McKeehan and wife Sheila, all of Corbin; 15 grandchildren Eric Sutton, Brian Sutton, Christi Douglas, Amber Moody, Keith Daniel Barnett, Angela Troglen, James McKeehan, Michael Howard, Aaron Howard, Adam Howard, Austin McKeehan, Ashley Stanley, Dean Wilder, Artis Ketron and Shawn Bennett; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Gail Hall of Williamsburg and Fran Myers of Florida; two brothers, Kevin Smith and Howard Smith of Williamsburg; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
The funeral service was held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel.
Following the service, she was laid to rest in the Johnson Cemetery on Bee Creek Road in Corbin.
