Lloyd Lester Vanover
Lloyd Lester Vanover, 73, passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born in Honey Bee, KY on April 17, 1945 a son of the late Ancil and Lula Perry Vanover.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and had been a machinist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Vida Bryant, Viola Steel, Ovada Cox, Paul Vanover, Boyd Vanover and Lee Vanover.
Survivors include his wife of almost 11 years, Clara Bryant Vanover; daughters, Judy Walden of Williamsburg, Sharon Vanover and husband, James of Parkers Lake, and April Vanover of Hulen; son, Kevin Vanover of Melbourne, FL; step-sons and their wives, Rick and Debbie Bryant of West Harrison, IN, Roger and Brenda Bryant of London, and Terry and Mary Bryant of Williamsburg; six grandchildren and six step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Croley Funeral Home, of Williamsburg.
Burial will be in the Vanover Cemetery at Sally Gap.
Military services will be provided at the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
