Lewis-Day united in marriage
Oneda Shelton Ornduff of East Bernstadt, Ky. and Nesbit Shelton of Vandalia, Ohio would like to announce the marriage of their daughter, Kathy Shelton Lewis, to Daniel Mark Day, son of Ken and Wilma Day of Clevelend, Ohio.
Kathy and Dan were married Nov. 20, 2009 in Vandalia, Ohio. Attendants were Kathy’s daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Matthew Herman; her son, Todd Lewis; and her granddaughter, Shelby Arnett. Daniel’s son, Douglas Day, served as best man with his fiancé, Angie Franz, as attendant.
Kathy is the granddaughter of the late Eli and Eva Smith of Nevisdale, Ky. and the Hila Goins and Lincoln Shelton, also of Nevisdale. Dan is the grandson of the late Kennith and Clara Day of Cleveland, Ohio and the late Egbert and Maddie Johnson of Atkinson, N.C.
Both Kathy and Dan attained Master of Science degrees at the University of Dayton. Dan is employed as an aeronautical engineer at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. Kathy is a professional clinical counselor employed by Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio.
A December honeymoon in Puerto Rico is planned.
