Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude to all who has recently supported the efforts in the Train Revival. The interest and mission to construct a public art project of Train Sculptures in Downtown Corbin. The offers of support from the community not to give up hope on this project has been overwhelming to me. I have been deeply touched and affected by so many wonderful stories the community has shared with me and want to share with others. I hope this project will only lead the way and efforts to establish a permenant Railroad Museum.
I would like to say Thank You, to CSX for their support. Especially Mark Waldron and Kerry Coyle. The City of Corbin, the Mayor and Commissioners for their commitment with matching funds and creating a partnership to this project. The community contributions from; Whitaker Bank, Sofcoast, Pepsi, Donna Vance with Corbin Bingo Parlor and LandMark Inn, Corbin Materials, Tri-Co Cineplex, Law Office of Howard Mann, Bill Hacker and Bob Terrell and his family. I am truly blessed to serve the community of Corbin and will never forget the support that has been shown to the Main Street program.
Sincerely,
Sharae Myers
Main Street Manager
