Lester Otis Caddell

Lester Otis Caddell, 88, of South Hwy 25W, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, April 27, 2018 at his home.

He was born on May 27, 1929 in Williamsburg, to the late Crit Caddell and Neaner (Morgan) Caddell.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, Roger Caddell and David Caddell; daughter, Glenda Kay Caddell; brother, Raymond Caddell; and sisters, Jackie Lambdin and Irene Lambdin. Member of Pleasant View Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Rusha (Rountree) Caddell of Williamsburg; four daughters, Linda Caddell Moses (Damon), Patsy Cook (Rev. Marion), Sue Browning (Robert), and Grace Caddell, all of Williamsburg; three sons, Ricky Caddell (Deborah), Timmy Caddell (Cleda), and Joe Caddell (Kate), all of Williamsburg; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Caddell and Geneva Mae Caddell, both of Williamsburg; two brothers, J.C. Caddell (Barbra) of Cleveland, OH and Henry Caddell (Willie) of Florida; special friend, Roger Cureton; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, April 30, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marion Cook and Rev. Darrell Maynard officiating.

He was laid to rest in the Wolf Creek Cemetery on Tuesday, May 1.
