Lester Napier

Lester Napier, 71, of Bee Creek Road, Corbin, departed this life on Friday, April 5, 2019 at his home.

He was born October 9, 1947 in Manchester, to the late Tom and Pearl (Eversole) Napier.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Puckett) Napier; three brothers, Fred, Denver and Darrell Napier and two sisters, Della Mae Taylor and Jewell Dean Holland.

He is survived by his children, Lester H. Napier (Kimberly) and Christine Napier of Corbin; four grandchildren, Jacob Clark, Annie McFadden, Lucas Napier and Nathan Napier; one great grandchild, Carley Clark; four brothers, Robert Napier (Martha) of London, Albert Napier (Linda) of Batesville, IN, Frank Napier (Janice) of London, KY and Israel Napier (Debbie) of London, KY; three sisters, Nancy Smith of Florida, Lou Ann Cardinal (Ed) of Florida and Laura Jean Koenig (Eddie); several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday, April 11, at Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Eversole officiating.

Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Thomas Cemetery on Highway 511 in Corbin.
