Antenna Structure Registration Environmental Notification

East Kentucky Network, LLC d/b/a Appalachian Wireless is proposing to construct a telecommunications tower (FCC Form 854 File No. A1114861) located 0.5 miles east of Gausdale Whitley County, Kentucky at Latitude N 36° 45’ 18.11”, Longitude W 83° 58’ 2.77”. The tower is proposed to be a self-supporting/lattice design and 300’ tall with FAA Style D (L-865) lighting. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), an evaluation is being conducted of the potential impacts the proposed tower facility may have on the environment. Interested parties may review the application by going to www.fcc.gov/asr/applications and entering the Form 854 File Number and may comment on the proposed structure by following the instructions at www.fcc.gov/asr/environmentalrequest. The tower is proposed to be a self-supporting/lattice design and 300’ tall with FAA Style E (L-864/L-865/L-810) lighting. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), an evaluation is being conducted of the potential impacts the proposed tower facility may have on the environment. On or after 10/30/2018 Charter will start encrypting the Starter, Spectrum Basic, Standard, and Spectrum Select Service Tier offerings on your cable system. If you have a set-top box, digital transport adapter (DTA), or a retail CableCARD device connected to each of your TVs, you should be unaffected by this change. However, if you are currently receiving the Starter, Spectrum Basic, Standard, or Spectrum Select Service Tier offerings on any TV without equipment supplied by Charter, you will lose the ability to view any channels on that TV. If you are affected, you should contact Charter to arrange for the equipment you need to continue receiving your services. In such case, you are entitled to receive equipment at no additional charge or service fee for a limited period of time. The number and type of devices you are entitled to receive and for how long will vary. If you are a Starter or Spectrum Basic Service Tier customer and receive the service on your TV without Charter-supplied equipment, you are entitled to up to two devices for two years (five years if you also receive Medicaid). NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Public Service Commission of Kentucky issued an order on August 10, 2018, scheduling a hearing to be held on October 9, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, in Hearing Room 1 of the Commission’s offices located at 211 Sower Boulevard in Frankfort, Kentucky, for the purpose of cross-examining witnesses in Case No. 2018-00218, which is Electronic Examination of the Application of the Fuel Adjustment Clause of Kentucky Utilities Company from November 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018. This hearing will be streamed live and may be viewed on the PSC website, psc.ky.gov.
