The Whitley County (Kentucky) School District Finance Corporation, will until 11:00 A.M., E.D.S.T., on August 3, 2010, receive in the office of the Kentucky School Facilities Construction Commission, Suite 102, 229 W. Main Street, Frankfort, Kentucy 40601, competitive bids for its $8,165,000 Qualilfied School Construction Bonds. Taxable Series of 2010, dated August 18, 2010 (QSCBS – Direct Pay to Issuer); being Term bonds maturing August 1, 2027. Specific information and required Official Bid Form available in POS at pos.hilliard.com from J.J.B. Hilliard, W.L. Lyons, LLC. The Bonds are Specified Tax Credit Bonds on which the interest is subject to Federal income taxation.

The following Career and Technical Education Courses are available to students in grades 10-12 through the Corbin Area Technology Center: Computer Aided Drafting, Information Technology, Auto Mechanics, Electricity, Health Sciences, and Welding.
