Please take notice that the City of Williamsburg, Whitley County, Kentucky, provides the following statement pursuant KRS 424.220 and KRS 91A.040 (6). The City of Williamsburg has completed its annual audit for the Fiscal Year 2020-2021 and copies are on file with the City of Williamsburg. A copy will be provided upon request at a cost not to exceed 25 cents per page.

BID NOTICE:

Corbin Independent schools will be receiving separate bids for two Food Service vehicles. One is a 2009 Ford Flex Limited and the other is a custom painted 1991 International school bus. For additional information and pictures on these vehicles please visit our school’s home-page https://www.corbinschools.org and click on the vehicle surplus banner. Submit your sealed bid to the Corbin Board of Education, Attn: Rhonda Moore, 108 Roy Kidd Avenue, Corbin, KY 40701 during regular office hours from 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday. Bid Deadline is 2:00pm on March 31, 2022. Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Corbin Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.

The Whitley County Fiscal Court is currently seeking bids for the repair of Lawson Bend Road, using a rail and cribbing repair.

SPECIFICATIONS CAN BE FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.WHITLEYCOUNTYFISCALCOURT.COM, OR BY CALLING 606-549-6000. Specifications will be given out at the pre-bid meeting. There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid meeting for all contractors interested in submitting a bid on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10 am at the Whitley County Courthouse in the Fiscal Courtroom.

Vendors must submit their SEALED proposals to the Whitley County Judge/Executive, at the Whitley County Courthouse, 200 Main Street Williamsburg, KY 40769 or to P.O. Box 237, Williamsburg, KY 40769 on or before 10 A.M. Wednesday, April 6, 2022. Proposal envelopes or packages must be clearly marked LAWSON BEND on the front of the envelopes. Bid packets received after this time will be returned unopened to the vendor. Bids will be opened at this time and read aloud. Bids will be presented to the Whitley County Fiscal Court at a Special Meeting of the Fiscal Court Meeting on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 4 p.m.

Conflicts of interest, gratuities, and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445, and as provided for in KRS 45A.445 are absolutely prohibited.

No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 90 days after the date the bids are opened. Any bid received after the time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.

Whitley County reserves the right to waive any informality, and may reject any and all bids. Whitley County reserves the right to award bids based upon availability, service and in the best interest and safety for the citizens of the county. Whitley County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
