Bid Documents are available at the Whitley County Board of Education Office, 300 Main Street, Williamsburg, KY 40769, during regular office hours from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Or they may be obtained by visiting our website at www.whitley.kyschools.us.  Bid deadline is 2 p.m., Thursday, April 13, 2023. Bids will be opened on April 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.  Bids received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened to the bidder. The Whitley County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that ECL Corbin, LLC has filed an application with the Energy and Environment Cabinet to clear, grub, grade along stream and streambanks, install utilities, roadway in the left descending floodplain of Youngs Creek at about stream mile 1.3, with coordinates 36.9226173N, -84.0564382W, in Corbin, Knox County. The property is located on the west side of the Corbin bypass, between Allison Blvd. and the new Winners Lane. Lyda H. Stenzel, Trustee or Unknown Successor Trustee, Whitley Circuit #22-CI-000025, in which the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York seeks a declaration that it is the owner of the property of Edward and Lyda Stenzel at 1008 Circle Drive, Corbin, Kentucky pursuant to her Will. NOTICE

Cellco Partnership, d/b/a Verizon Wireless has filed an application with the Kentucky Public Service Commission (“PSC”) to construct a new wireless communications facility on a site located on Liberty Road, Corbin KY 40701 (North Latitude: (36° 53’ 16.15”, West Longitude 84° 02’ 55.85”). The proposed facility will include a 300-foot tall antenna tower, plus a 5-foot lightning arrestor, for a total height of 305 feet with related ground facilities.  You have a right to submit comments to the PSC or to request intervention in the PSC’s proceedings on the application. SECTION 00020 – INVITATION TO BID

Separate sealed bids for the 2022 Build Ready Pads and Access Road Grade & Drain for Southern Kentucky Business Park, will be received by Bruce Carpenter, Executive Director, at the office of the Southern Kentucky Economic Development Agency, 222 Corbin Center Drive, Corbin, Kentucky 40701 until 2:00 PM EST on April 2, 2023.  At that time the bids will be opened and read in public.  Bids must be sealed and labelled Bid for “2022 Build Ready Project”.  If mailed in advance, bids should be addressed to Southern Kentucky Economic Development Agency, P.O. Box 1566, Corbin, Kentucky 40702, Attn:  Bruce Carpenter.  Mailed bids must be received by the bid opening time or they will not be considered.

The project consists of approximately 2,000 feet of access road grade & drain and two earthen build ready pads.  Math errors in any bid will be corrected by the Owner, based on unit prices submitted.

The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids.

Federal and State Prevailing Wage Rates are Not applicable.

No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder for the facilities the Owner selects for award and construction.
