Time Warner Cable’s agreements with programmers and broadcasters to carry their services and stations routinely expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in order to comply with applicable regulations, we must inform you when an agreement is about to expire. On or after January 19th, the following broadcast station will become available in Brownsville, Ripley and Bolivar: WBUY (TBN) channel 17.
H2 Network may be replaced by Vice Channel on or around February 29, 2016.

Sealed proposal for the following work will be received by the Whitley County Fiscal Court in the manner, and the date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the repair and stabilization of Dal Road. The work is to be performed at three sites along the road. The sites are located at Latitude 36 43.165, Longitude 84 06.310.
Contractors must submit their sealed proposals to the Whitley County Judge Executive, at the Whitley County Courthouse, 200 Main Street, Williamsburg, Kentucky, or to P.O. Box 237, Williamsburg, KY 40769 on or before 9:00 a.m. local time on January 19th, 2016. Proposal envelopes or packages must be clearly marked Dal Road Stabilization, on the front of the envelope or package. Bids will be opened at this time, and read aloud. Bids will be presented to, and awarded at the regular scheduled meeting, of the Whitley County Fiscal Court, which takes place at 6:00 p.m., on January 19th, 2016.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, January 11th , at 10:00 a.m. at the Whitley County Courthouse in the Fiscal Courtroom. All potential bidders must attend to be eligible to bid this project.
Contractor must provide proof of liability insurance, a bid bond equal to 10% of bid price, and a performance bond.
Cost estimates will be based on the installation of 3,280 linear feet of steel, 1,944 square feet of cribbing, 257 tons of #2 stone backfill, 28 tons of DGA shoulder stone, 170 square feet of type IV fabric, and the excavation of 217 cubic yards of dirt.
Scope of work to be performed: The steel will be installed into the bedrock to a depth no less than 1⁄2 the distance to the existing bedrock. Then the dirt will be excavated to a minimum of 8 ft. so panels can be attached to the installed steel. Type IV fabric will be installed, and #2 gravel will be placed in the annular space between the panel and roadway. A 6 inch layer of DGA will then be installed over the disturbed area to provide a smooth driving surface.
Conflicts of interest, gratuities, and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445, and as provided for in KRS 45A.445 are absolutely prohibited.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid for 90 days after the date the bids are opened. Any bid received after the time specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder.

Second Reading of a proposed Ordinance amending the Whitley County Budget for Fiscal Year 2015-2016, to include unanticipated receipts increasing/decreasing from various Funds in the amount of $161,783.00 and increasing/decreasing expenditures in various Funds in the amount of $161,783.00 will be held on 01/19/16 at 6:00 PM in the Whitley County Fiscal Court Room during a Special Meeting.
