Bidding Documents, including Drawing and Specifications, may be obtained upon deposit of $232.00 per set cash or check, payable to Whitley County Board of Education. Deposit checks should be delivered to Lynn Imaging. After receipt of deposit by Lynn Imaging, documents may be picked up at Lynn Imaging, 328 Old Vine Street, Lexington, KY 40507, (859) 255-1021. If documents are to be mailed, shipping should be paid separately to Lynn Imaging.
Deposit will be returned upon receipt of Bidding Documents in good condition within ten days after bids are opened. If more than one set of Bidding Documents are desired, the cost of $ 232.00 per additional set must be remitted by separate check payable to Whitley County Board of Education. The costs for additional sets will not be returned.
A certified check, payable to the Whitley County Board of Education, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to 5% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
Successful bidders will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The bond shall cover the entire base bid cost and any accepted alternates (direct purchase orders must be included).
Prevailing wage rates will apply to this Project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Any bid not submitted on the proper form shall not be considered.
