The BOE will start accepting bids immediately upon the publishing of this ad and will accept sealed bids until 3:30 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Pursuant to Application Number 918-0444, Renewal
In accordance with KRS 350.055, notice is hereby given that Alden Resources LLC, 332 West Cumberland Gap Parkway, Suite 100, Corbin, Kentucky 40701 has applied for renewal of a permit for a surface coal mining and reclamation operation affecting 72.7 acres located 2.0 miles southeast of Siler in Whitley County.
The proposed operation is approximately 0.57 miles east from KY 92’s junction with Limestone Branch Road and located 0.37 mile south of Poplar Creek on Little Round Mountain.
The proposed operation is located on the Frakes and Saxton, KY 7½ minute quadrangle maps. The operation will use the area method of surface mining. The surface area to be disturbed is owned by Penn Virginia Resource GP, LLC.
The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Mining Reclamation and Enforcement’s Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland Avenue, Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965-1229. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MINE

In accordance with the provision of KRS 350.055, notice is hereby given that American Highwall Mining, LLC, P.O. Box 1539, Chilhowie, VA 24319 has applied for a renewal to an existing surface coal mining and reclamation operation located 1.0 miles southeast of Rockholds in Whitley County, Kentucky. The existing operation disturbs approximately 75 acres and will underlie 103 acres for a total of 178 acres.
The renewal area is approximately 1.2 miles east of the junction of Jack’s Fork Road and KY Rt. 26 and located on Helton Hollow of Jacks Fork of Watts Creek.
The operation is located on the Rockholds U.S.G.S. 7 1/2 minute quadrangle map. The surface area to be disturbed is owned by Bart Davis, Barbara Roberts and Daymond & Joyce Helton.
The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Natural Resources Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 Cumberland Ave., Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965. Charter’s (formerly Time Warner Cable) agreements with programmers and broadcasters to carry their services and stations routinely expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in order to comply with applicable regulations, we must inform you when an agreement is about to expire. The following agreements are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services or stations in the near future: WPSD D2 Antenna TV, Youtoo, RFD, Pivot, ShopHQ/EVINE Live, POP/TVGN, Music Choice (channels 901-950), Outdoor Channel (SD & HD), Weather Channel (SD & HD).

WGN America may be repositioned from Starter TV to Standard TV.

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The City of Williamsburg will retain a qualified engineering firm to provide the necessary planning, design, inspection, and other engineering services for a proposed Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation and I&I Removal Project (SX21235004). The Owner will accept Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms interested in working on this project until Friday, October 14, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. An RFQ packet containing information about the project and criteria, which will be used to select the consulting firm, may be obtained by contacting Mayor Roddy Harrison, Williamsburg City Hall, PO Box 119, Williamsburg, KY 40769 or 606-549-6034. The Statement of Qualifications will be considered by a selection committee appointed by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
This solicitation for “Statements of Qualifications” is being conducted to fulfill funding agency procurement requirements. Attention of respondents to this RFQ is called to the following requirements: Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968; Section 109 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; Executive Order 11246; Certification of Non-segregated Facilities; and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations. SOLICITATION OF FUEL VENDORS
Bell-Whitley Community Action Agency, Inc. announces that Coal, Wood, Propane, Fuel Oil and Kerosene Vendors are being solicited to provide home heating fuel in the SUBSIDY and CRISIS Components of the 2016-2017 Home Energy Assistance Program in Bell and Whitley Counties. The Subsidy Component will begin November 1st, 2016 and will end December 9th, 2016. The Crisis Component will begin January 9th, 2017, and will end March 31st, 2017 or until funds are expended.
Interested Vendors may pick up a Vendor Packet at the Bell-Whitley Office at 129 Pine Street Pineville, KY or 799 N. US HWY 25W Williamsburg, KY. Clients will select from an Approved Vendor List.
The Bell-Whitley Office must receive all vendor information and fuel quotes no later than 4:30 p.m. Friday, October 14th, 2016.
