The Public Service Commission of Kentucky is- sued an order on August 12, 2016, scheduling a hearing to be held on November 9, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, in Hearing Room 1 of the Commission’s offices located at 211 Sower Boulevard in Frankfort, Kentucky, for the purpose of cross-examining wit- nesses in Case No. 2016-00232, which is An Examination of the Application of the Fuel Adjustment Clause of Kentucky Utilities Company from November 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MINE

Pursuant to Application Number 918-0434 Renewal

In accordance with the provision of KRS 350.055, notice is hereby given that American Highwall Mining, LLC, P.O. Box 1539, Chilhowie, VA 24319 has applied for a renewal to an existing surface coal mining and reclamation operation located 1.0 miles southeast of Rockholds in Whitley County, Kentucky. The existing operation disturbs approximately 75 acres and will underlie 103 acres for a total of 178 acres.

The renewal area is approximately 1.2 miles east of the junction of Jack’s Fork Road and KY Rt. 26 and located on Helton Hollow of Jacks Fork of Watts Creek.

The operation is located on the Rockholds U.S.G.S. 7 1/2 minute quadrangle map. The surface area to be disturbed is owned by Bart Davis, Barbara Roberts and Daymond & Joyce Helton.

The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Natural Resources Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 Cumberland Ave., Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965. Written comments, objections, or requests for a permit conference must be filed with the Director, Division of Permits, 300 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR RECLAMATION DEFERMENT

In accordance with 405 KAR 16:020, notice is hereby given that Mountainside Coal Co., Inc., 7692 S. HWY 25W, Williamsburg, KY 40769 has applied for a coal marketing reclamation deferment for its surface coal mining and reclamation operation, permit number 918-0450. Deferment of reclamation is being requested for approximately 3.8 acres. The operation for which the deferment is being requested is located approximately 2.5 miles south of Pearl, KY and approximately 0.8 miles from the intersection of General Lowe Rd and Highway 190 in Whitley County. The latitude is 36° 35’ 39” and the longitude is 83° 56’ 15”.

The deferment is being sought due to coal marketing problems and is being requested for an initial period of six (6) months. The deferment may be renewed for additional periods, in six (6) month increments, up to a maximum of Thirty (30) months.

The application has been filed for public inspection at the Department for Natural Resources’ Middlesboro Regional Office, 1804 East Cumberland Avenue, Middlesboro, Kentucky 40965. Written comments or objections must be filed within ten (10) days of this notice with the Director, Division of Permits, 300 Sower Boulevard, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601.

Legal Notice

Charter’s (formerly Time Warner Cable) agreements with programmers and broadcasters to carry their services and stations routinely expire from time to time. We are usually able to obtain renewals or extensions of such agreements, but in order to comply with applicable regulations, we must inform you when an agreement is about to expire. The following agreements are due to expire soon, and we may be required to cease carriage of one or more of these services or stations in the near future: WPSD D2 Antenna TV, Youtoo, RFD, Pivot, ShopHQ/EVINE Live, POP/TVGN, Music Choice (channels 901-950), Outdoor Channel (SD & HD), Weather Channel (SD & HD).

In addition, from time to time we make certain changes in the services that we offer in order to better serve our customers. The following changes are planned:

Charter is moving towards a higher-quality, digital-only experience to provide better picture and sound, more HD channels and more On Demand choices. Delivering channels in digital format is one way we continue to improve the quality of our service. This change will require digital equipment in order to view these channels on all television sets. This change will not impact TVs connected to a digital set top box, retail CableCard device or digital TVs equipped with a QAM tuner. TVs with built-in digital cable tuners (QAM or ClearQAM) will continue to be able to view Starter TV programming available without additional equipment needed on the QAM channel numbers listed for EWTN, EVINE Live, TBN, INSP, QVC and Jewelry TV.

On or about October 31st, Pivot channel 115 will no longer be available in Brownsville, Ripley and Bolivar, TN as the service is ceasing operations.

WGN America may be repositioned from Starter TV to Standard TV.
