Larry Franklin Spencer
Larry Franklin Spencer, 69, of Corbin passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016.
Born March 7, 1947, in Milford, MI, he was the son of Berl Trusty Spencer and the late Frank Spencer.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church, a retired employee of Mutual Federal Bank, and a local real estate appraiser.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa; brother, Johnny; sister, Katie; and his beloved dog, Bell.
He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Pamela Davis Spencer; a daughter, Kim and fiancé Howard; two sons: Stephen (Faye) and Jason; three grandchildren: Brittnay Baugh (John), James Gallaway and Camden Spencer; and two great grandsons: Bentley and Easton Baugh; his mother, Berl Trusty Spencer; sister, Iris Combs (JB); sister-in-law, Mary Spencer; and brother-in-law, Keith Davis; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 17, in the Hart Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton officiating.
A graveside service and burial was held Friday in Machpelah Cemetery at Mt. Sterling, KY.
Active pallbearers were Tim Foley, James Gallaway, Bobby Johnson, Troy Cantrell, John Frank Spencer, Camden Spencer, and Zachary Raynes.
Honorary pallbearers were Richie Taylor, Silky Sullivan, Lamar Hamilton, Ed Keith Davis, JB Combs, JB “Bud” Spencer, and Mark Davis.
