Lake Raymond Richardson

Lake Raymond Richardson, 88, of Richardson Road, Williamsburg, departed this life on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home.

He was born on September 26, 1928 in Whitley County, to the late Charlie Richardson and Sarah White Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Prewitt Richardson; brothers, Linville Richardson, Paul Richardson, Rannie Richardson and Roy Richardson; and sisters, Cassie Prewitt and Betty Green.
Lake was a Deacon at Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his four children, Larry Richardson and wife Betty, Joyce Creekmore and husband Bill, David Richardson and wife Bonita and Roger Richardson and wife Cynthia, all of Williamsburg; seven grandchildren, Alan Richardson and wife Sheri of Williamsburg, Lisa Bowman and husband Daryl of Williamsburg, Andy Richardson and wife Beth of Corbin, Billy Creekmore and wife Nicole of Williamsburg, Christopher Richardson of Harriman, TN, Joshua Richardson of Williamsburg and Jordan Richardson of Williamsburg; 7 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Pauline Cox and Wilma Richardson of Williamsburg; one brother, Bill Richardson of Williamsburg; special friends, Dewey and Dorothy Brown of Williamsburg; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Mr. Richardson will lie-in-state at Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour on Wednesday, November 2.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, at the Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Lovitt and Rev. Larry Waddell officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Cumberland Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Alan Richardson, Andy Richardson, Burton Richardson, Billy Creekmore, Daryl Bowman, Dustin Richardson, Mark Richardson and Michael Richardson will serve as pallbearers.
