Kenneth J. Carr

Kenneth J. Carr, 71, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday February 20, 2017 at Baptist Health Lexington in Lexington.

He was born October 25, 1945 in Jellico, TN, to the late Wolford Carr and the late Dorcas Beams Carr.

He was a member of Wolf Creek Baptist Church where he was song leader and a trustee.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Bobby Carr.

He is survived by two sons, Kenny O. Carr (Rhonda) of Williamsburg, Russell Carr (Jeana) of Corbin; four grandchildren, Maranda Carr, Makenzie Carr, Haley Carr, Macie Carr; brother, Garlin Carr of Clearfield, UT; three sisters, Joann Rose of Williamsburg, Ruth Moses of Williamsburg, Phyllis Hassink (Kenny) Cleveland, OH, special niece, Rebecca Laudermilk, niece, Lyndee Jackson, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Thursday, February 23, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lester Cox, Rev. Tony Lawson, and Rev. Ronnie Mullins officiating.

Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View.
