Kenneth D. Holloway

Kenneth D. Holloway, 63, of Corbin passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin.

Born April 17, 1953, he was the son of the late Charles H. Holloway and Irene Holloway who survives.  He was a member of Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church where he volunteered faithfully in the food pantry.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Helm; maternal grandparents, Elmer and Ida Mayne; paternal grandparents, Samuel and Cora Holloway; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Besides his mother, Irene Holloway, he is survived by his sister, Tricia Abel and husband Jeffrey; two nieces: Erin Kerns and husband Donnie and Erika Huber and husband Andy; three great nephews: Braydon Kerns, Camdon Kerns, and Landon Huber; one great niece: Hayley Huber; his special church family; other relatives; and numerous friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral services were held Saturday, January 7, at Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Weyman McGuire officiating.

Burial followed in Sutton-Pemberton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Grace on the Hill United Methodist Church Food Pantry 1632 Cumberland Falls Highway Corbin, KY 40701.
