Karon Lawson Moses
Karon Lawson Moses, 58, of Tyler Trail, Corbin departed this life on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at her home.
She was born on February 1, 1961 in Corbin, to the late Floyd and Helen (McKinney) Lawson.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Benny Moses Jr.; a brother, Lloyd Lawson and an uncle, Larry McKinney.
Karon retired from Kmart after over 30 years of employment.
She is survived by her sons, Brandon Lee Moses (Nicole) and Bradley Coty Moses of Corbin; three grandchildren, Landon Lee Moses, Camdon Lee Moses and Lily Aleese Moses; three sisters, Shanna Elkins (Steve) of Corbin, Pam Cornett (David) of Corbin and Sharon Gabbard (Bobby) of London; two brothers, Brian Lawson (Sherry) and Curt Lawson of Corbin; half-brother, Ben Prewitt of Indiana; sister-in-law, Cathy Lawson of Corbin; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing and will forever cherish her memory.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Hodge and Rev. Billy Evans officiating.
Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View.
